About Marilee Devries

Since landing in Colorado, Marilee has been immersed in the real estate industry in one way or another since 2018. As a high-energy, driven REALTOR®, Marilee is ready to guide you through your next real estate transaction. She brings hands-on experience in fix-and-flip real estate on the Front Range and she also owns and operates several short term rentals in the Fairplay area, diversifying her perspectives and what she brings to clients.

Born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin near Lake Geneva, Marilee grew up waterskiing on Lauderdale Lakes, golfing, snowmobiling, hiking in Kettle Moraine, skiing, and attending concerts at Alpine Valley. She lived in the Palm Desert in Southwestern California for eight years and in the Phoenix area for two more years, all the while perfecting her hospitality skills, where she tended to members at private, upscale golf courses.

Marilee earned her Bachelor’s in Environmental Geography and Sustainability with a minor in Geology from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Her studies opened her eyes to the wonders of the world and ultimately fueled her desire to relocate to the Rocky Mountains.

When not in the office or out showing real estate, you’ll find Marilee with her boyfriend Dave and two dogs, Nahla and Louie. They’re probably skiing, climbing, running, somewhere out on a local trail, or traveling the U.S. in their camper. Her love of hiking and sailing has taken her all around the world to places like Nepal, Everest Basecamp, France, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, Montenegro, Cuba, Mexico, and the Society Islands.

Marliee’s passion for outdoor adventure often mirrors her drive and dedication to real estate. When she sets a goal, she’ll do whatever it takes to meet it, whether conquering a trail after recovering from an injury or helping you find your dream home. And she’s never one to shy away from a good challenge.

• Favorite place to volunteer: South Park Food Bank, which helps neighbors in need in Jefferson, Como, Fairplay, Alma, and Hartsel
• Favorite place for sustainable snacks: I love KiKi's Peak Produce Stands for the best spicy dill pickled cauliflower!
• Favorite way to wake up: Bristlecone Bake Shop’s pastries and breads are made at 10,000+ feet above sea level — and they rival those found in France. Black Kettle Coffee on S. Main Street in Alma and Green Leaf Kitchen, a vegetarian restaurant on Highway 285, also fuel our day-to-day lives so we are ready for adventure. We are all so fortunate that these innovators followed their dreams and that they’re thriving here in South Park.
• Favorite local hidden gems: Alma’s Gym, also known as North America's Highest Gym, where we "LIFT HEAVY AND Breathe Hard.” Cody helped me prepare my mind to dig deep on some of those treks and to endure the boredom of sailing, especially when I was injured.

Also, Mountain Essentials on Front Street is totally essential. Nicole’s pioneering spirit saw a need for skin care products made with love and only the best ingredients. Her products are loaded with vitamins and minerals that help the skin rebuild, add elasticity and, retain moisture, which is needed year-round in the High Alpine environment. They’ve been voted best gift shop and best locally made products many years in a row. She also consigns with other female artists, so you can truly find something for everyone at her shop!
